LNT1
LNT1
LNT1 replaces the retired Token-Ring attribute TRT1 on page 14-71. LNT1 is the reply
timer used to detect the lack of a required response from a remote station. This
attribute is optional. Regardless of which attribute name is specified on an SCF
ADD/ALTER command, the SCF INFO command displays LNT1.
LNT2
LNT2 replaces the retired Token-Ring attribute TRT2 on page 14-71. LNT2 is the
receiver acknowledgment timer used to delay sending acknowledgments. When the
LNT2 timer expires, an acknowledgment to previously received frames is sent. The
value of LNT2 must be less than the value of LNT1; if not, an error message will be
generated for the SCF ADD or ALTER PU command. This attribute is optional.
Regardless of which attribute name is specified on an SCF ADD/ALTER command, the
SCF INFO command displays LNT2.
LNTI
LNTI replaces the retired Token-Ring attribute TRTI on page 14-71. LNTI is the
inactivity timer used to detect a link failure. This attribute is optional. Regardless of
which attribute name is specified on an SCF ADD/ALTER command, the SCF INFO
command displays LNTI.
LOCALSNANAME–SNAX/APN Only
The LOCALSNANAME attribute can contain from 1 through 8 characters and must use
the SNA 1134 character set. The configured LOCALSNANAME should not duplicate
the name of an LU on another node in the IBM network.
Default: 1 (second)
Value: 0 - 65535 (seconds)
