LUDISABLED - for SNAX/XF Only
PROTOCOL LOGON
The LOCALSNANAME attribute is rejected.
The LOCALSNANAME attribute also appears in detailed INFO displays for remote LUs
created by the TLOGMGR. For these LUs, the name displayed for LOCALSNANAME
is the same as the name configured in the SNANAME attribute for the TLOGMGR LU,
because dynamically added device LUs assume the SNA name of the TLOGMGR LU.
LUDISABLED - for SNAX/XF Only
LUDISABLED specifies the type of response that an SLU on the NonStop node can
make to an ACTLU request. The following values are valid for LUDISABLED:
The LUDISABLED attribute is not valid for a switched floating LU.
LUOPMSG - for SNAX/XF Only
LUOPMSG specifies whether LU start and stop messages are to be displayed on the
operator console.
A value of ON enables display of these messages. A value of OFF disables message
display.
Default: OFF
Value: ON | OFF

ON specifies that the SLU on the NonStop node is to inform the host program
when that SLU has been added but not yet opened; in such cases, a control
vector in the positive response made to an ACTLU request signifies that the
SLU capability is disabled and that sessions can be queued but not started.
Consequently, a host program (for example, an AS/400 “SIGNON” program)
will not issue a BIND to the unopened SLU, an action that would cause the
SSCP controlling the PLU to place the SLU in an inactive state.
When the SLU is opened, a NOTIFY request is sent to the SSCP controlling
the PLU; this request indicates that SLU capability is enabled and that
sessions can be both queued and started. When the SLU is closed, a
NOTIFY request is again sent to the SSCP controlling the PLU; this request
indicates that the SLU capability is disabled and that sessions can be queued
but not started.
OFF specifies that the SLU always includes a control vector that signifies that the
SLU capability is enabled and that sessions can be queued or started. No
NOTIFY requests are sent when the SLU is opened or closed.
