MAXLOCALLUS - for SNAX/APN Only
MAXLOCALLUS - for SNAX/APN Only
MAXLOCALLUS specifies the maximum number of local LUs allowed on the line. The
value cannot exceed the value specified for MAXLUS. MAXLOCALLUS is a required
attribute and should always be specified with a nonzero value. If MAXLOCALLUS is
allowed to default, SNAX/APN cannot operate on the line.
MAXLOCALLUS impacts the value of MAXLUS for the LINE object. For details, see
the Note under MAXLUS.
MAXLUS
MAXLUS specifies the maximum number of LUs that can be subordinate to the given
line or PU. When MAXLUS is applied to a LINE object, the sum of MAXLUS on all PUs
for the given line cannot exceed this value. For SNAX/APN, see the Note below.
For LINE objects, the default value is 32. The valid range of values is 1 through 2048
for LINE objects.
For PU objects, this attribute is required; there is no default. The value can range from
1 through 255 for SNAX/XF and 2000 for SNAX/APN, if the limit for MAXLUS on the
corresponding line is not exceeded. Before the MAXLUS attribute can be altered for a
PU, all LUs for the given PU must be deleted using the DELETE command. Altering
the value for MAXLUS does not automatically alter the value for MAXPTS.
Note: For SNAX/APN, the value specified for MAXLUS on the LINE object also
includes the value of MAXLOCALLUS; the sum of MAXLOCALLUS and MAXLUS on
all PUs for the given line cannot exceed MAXLUS for the line.
MAXPTS - for SNAX/XF Only
MAXPTS specifies the maximum number of concurrent passthrough sessions that can
be active on LUs subordinate to this PU. This attribute applies only to PUs on
secondary lines.
