MDMLOSSFATAL
The default value is the value is OFF, and the MDMLOSSFATAL attribute has no effect.
If the value is set to ON, the line handler brings the switched line down in case of
modem failure.
The value of the MDMLOSSFATAL attribute can be displayed using the SCF INFO
LINE command. This attribute is ignored for nonswitched lines, SNAX lines over X.25
networks, or SNAX lines over Token-Ring networks.
MDMLOSSFATALTIMER
If the MDMLOSSFATAL attribute is OFF, the MDMLOSSFATALTIMER attribute has no
meaning. If the MDMLOSSFATAL attribute is ON, the MDMLOSSFATALTIMER
attribute sets the time to wait after losing the signal from the modem before declaring
that the line is down.
The MDMLOSSFATALTIMER attribute is used in the SCF ADD LINE, SCF ALTER
LINE, and SCF INFO LINE commands. This attribute is ignored for nonswitched lines,
SNAX lines over X.25 networks.
NETID
NETID specifies the type of public data network (PDN) that SNAX accesses over a
line. The following values are valid for this attribute:
Default: OFF
Value: ON | OFF
Objects: LINE
Default: 0
Value: 0 ð- 327 (maximum value is 5 minutes and 27 seconds)
Objects: LINE
Default: NONETID
Value: DATEXL | NONETID | NPDN
Objects: LINE
DATEXL Refers to the German Data Network.
NONETID specifies any X.21 public data network that HP NonStop systems
support. Note that X.21 leased line connections are supported in
NonStop S-series systems; switched line connections are not
supported.
NPDN specifies the Nordic Public Data Network.
