NNSERVER
NNSERVER
NNSERVER sets the priority of CP-CP session establishment with the network node
server. An end node may communicate with multiple network nodes, but at any given
time you may only have CP-CP sessions with one, your chosen network node server.
You must select your primary NNS by using the option MAIN. If you want a backup
NNS you must configure another remote PU object and use the option BKUP. Any
further backup servers can be designated by the option OTHER. Any PU using the
default, or configured as NONE will be excluded from CP-CP session establishment.
CPNAME is an optional attribute for any NNSERVER option configuration.
NNSERVER may not be changed with an ALTER PU command. To change the
NNSERVER attribute, you must use the DELETE PU and then ADD PU commands.
NODETYPE - for SNAX/APN Only
NODETYPE sets the type of node being defined. The default value, NONE, is
used for SNAX/XF only. Use LEN for LEN node support, or EN for end node
support. With end node support, a local LU #ZAPC21 is automatically added
under the local PU #ZNT21 to represent the local CP in CP-CP sessions.
NOACQ - for SNAX/XF Only
When applied to a line or a PU, NOACQ specifies whether an application program
(PLU) can acquire a terminal LU (SLU) that is permanently subordinated to the line or
PU. When applied to an LU, it specifies whether an application program (PLU) can
acquire the named terminal LU (SLU).
If the NOACQ attribute is specified for a line or PU with permanently subordinated LUs,
all subordinate LUs assume the corresponding value for NOACQ if a NOACQ attribute

manager rejects any unsolicited OPEN from a process on the NonStop
system or any unsolicited BIND from a host process.
OFF SNAX/XF allows an application program to acquire the terminal LU.
