RSPTYPEWR - for SNAX/APN Only
RSPTYPEWR - for SNAX/APN Only
RSPTYPE specifies the response type to be used for data associated with the WRITE
portion of a WRITEREAD request. This attribute applies only to protocol types ITI,
CRT, and LOGON.
The following values are valid for this attribute:
SAPINFO
SAPINFO defines up to 63 SAPs. It is an optional attribute if there will be only one SAP
and the default value is acceptable.
The first value is the SAP address and it is required if SAPINFO is specified.
The second value is MAXLS, the maximum number of link stations allowed for the
SAP. If more than one SAP is defined, the total of all MAXLS values must not exceed
MAXPUS for the line.
The third value, DFT is the SAP’s data forward time. The SAP stops aggregating
inbound data into one buffer when the time specified by DFT has expired. Currently,
DFT is not supported for Ethernet.
The fourth value, DFS is the SAP’s data forward size. The SAP stops aggregating
inbound data into one buffer when the DFS number of bytes have been collected.
Currently, DFS is not supported for Ethernet.
The fifth value, DFC is the SAP’s data forward count. The SAP stops aggregating
inbound data into one buffer when the DFC number of frames has bee collected.
Currently, DFC is not supported for Ethernet.
Default: WRER
Value: WRER | WRDR
Objects: LU
WRER signifies exception (WRER) mode for WRITEREAD requests. A response
is sent only if an error was encountered in the processing of the request
WRDR signifies definite response (WRDR) mode for WRITEREAD requests. A
response, whether positive or negative, is sent for all WRITEREAD
requests.
Default: %h04,<line MAXPUS>,0,0,0
Value: %h04 -- %hFE (SAP address must be multiples of 4),
1- 255 (MAXLS),
0 - 02:00.000 (DFT)),
0 - 65535 (DFC),
0 - 65535 (DFS)
Objects: Line (Ethernet or Token-Ring only)
