SSCPID - for SNAX/XF Only
SSCPID - for SNAX/XF Only
SSCPID alters the subsystem services control point identifier (SSCP ID) of the
SNAX/XF subsystem. The SSCP ID identifies the SSCP (in this case, the SNAX/XF
service–manager process) that issues the ACTPU command, and is contained in
bytes 3 through 8 of the SNA ACTPU command. Any alterations to this attribute
must be made before the service manager is started.
STATIC - for SNAX/XF Only
STATIC specifies whether the LU modified by this attribute operates in static
passthrough mode. If STATIC ON is specified, the LU is permanently assigned to a
particular static passthrough path. If STATIC OFF is specified, the LU can be
permanently subordinated to applications on the NonStop system, or it can be
assigned to passthrough sessions on a dynamic basis. The following considerations
apply when specifying this attribute:
The STATIC attribute only applies to LUs on secondary lines.
If STATIC ON is specified, the application must also specify the ASSOCIATE and
PASSTHRU attributes.
This attribute can also be overridden by an LU Network Services (LUNS) ESS record,
but only when STATIC OFF is specified.
