FILTER Command
HELP
displays a help screen for the FILTER options for service manager traces.
Operational Notes
For service manager traces, only one FILTER option can be specified per
command.
Setting a FILTER option flag to ON enables the display of the specified trace
information; setting it to OFF disables the display of that information. In the case of
SPI and SPIDETAIL, setting one flag to ON also automatically sets the other flag to
OFF. You can use the DETAIL option to set all flags except SPI to ON, or to set all
flags to OFF.
The FILTER command is not required. If you do not use the FILTER command, all
option flags are set to OFF.
Examples
In the following examples, it is assumed that the name of a trace file has previously
been specified with the FROM command. Otherwise, PTrace returns an error
message and the FILTER command has no effect.
To display token information for SPI requests and responses as taken from the
HEADING or AS attributes in the DDL files, use the following PTrace command:
