Line-Handler Trace Records
Line-Handler Trace Records
The following pages describe the trace records generated by the line handler for all
types of lines.
003: PIU^TRACE^ID (PIU In)
This trace record contains the inbound path information unit (PIU) received by SNAX
level 3 from SNAX level 2.
This trace record consists of the transmission header (TH), the request/response
header (RH), and the request/response unit (RU).
PU index nnn
gives the physical unit (PU) address.
PIU bytes: nn
gives the number of bytes in the PIU. This is the total length of the PIU, even if a
small RECSIZE value in the TRACE command caused the data in the trace record
to be truncated.
FID2 OIS EFI OAF(02) DAF(01) SEQ #0
is a symbolic representation of the contents of the transmission header (TH), using
the standard IBM abbreviations. This line can include the following abbreviations:
The TH shown above is for a FID2 PIU with mapping field set to only in segment
(only in chain). The origin/destination assignor indicator bit is 0, and the expedited
