Cause. In an ADD LINE command for a Token-Ring or Ethernet line, the MAXLS value
specified in the SAPINFO attribute for at least one service access point (SAP) had an
invalid value of zero.
Effect. The line is not added.
Recovery. Change MAXLS to a nonzero value or eliminate it from the SAPINFO
attribute.
SNAX Error 00070
Cause. An attempt was made to alter a Token-Ring or Ethernet line to a condition in
which no SAP had a MAXLS value greater than zero.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Ensure that at least one SAP has a MAXLS value greater than zero.
SNAX Error 00071
Cause. An attempt was made to alter the MAXLS value for a SAP on a Token-Ring or
Ethernet line to a value smaller than the number of link stations (PUs under that line)
already using that SAP.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Choose a larger value for MAXLS, alter a sufficient number of PUs to have
a different SAP value, or delete a sufficient number of PUs so that the new MAXLS
value is greater than or equal to the number of PUs using that SAP.
SNAX Error 00073
Cause. An invalid value was specified for a SAP on a Token-Ring or Ethernet line.
Effect. The command fails.
SNAX E-00069 SAPINFO MAXLS value cannot be zero when adding a
line.
SNAX E-00070 The sum of all SAPINFO MAXLS values must be
greater than or equal to 1.
SNAX E-00071 SAPINFO MAXLS value must be >= to the number of
PUs using that SAP.
SNAX E-00073 SAP value specified is not a valid SNA SAP
value.
