HP Tandem Logon Manager for IBM Systems
(ILOGMGR)
HP Tandem Logon Manager for IBM Systems (ILOGMGR). NonStop software that runs in
IBM systems to support device logon using the SNAX/APN extended logon facility. See
also TLOGMGR.
ILOGMGR. See HP Tandem Logon Manager for IBM Systems (ILOGMGR).
ILOGMGR control file. A sequential, fixed-record-length data set that controls an
ILOGMGR by defining the local VTAM APPL name, the appropriate TLOGMGR
names, the supported NonStop application names, a routing code for error messages,
and a request time-out value.
ILOGMGR LU object. A SNAX/APN remote LU object that represents the ILOGMGR LU.
interactive terminal interface (ITI). A 3270 application program interface that simplifies
communications between an application process and a 3270-type device by handling
SNA flows for interactive (line-at-a-time) communication.
interactive terminal interface (ITI) protocol. The protocol used to communicate with the
interactive terminal interface. The ITI protocol supports line-at-a-time communications
with certain SNA 3270 type display stations. Contrast with the CRT interface.
I/O adapter module (IOAM). A collection of modular components that provides I/O
connectivity and can include ServerNet switch boards, Fibre Channel ServerNet
adapters (FCSAs), Gigabit Ethernet 4-port ServerNet adapters (G4SAs), fans, and
power supplies. In the IOAM, each module is a logical entity that represents a single
service domain.
I/O adapter module (IOAM) enclosure. The sheet-metal carrier that is installed in a 19-
inch rack and contains the IOAM components.
I/O process. A system process that manages I/O hardware, such as in an X.25 network
configuration. Applications use the file system to send requests to I/O processes.
ITI. See interactive terminal interface (ITI)
.
ITI protocol. See interactive terminal interface (ITI) protocol.
K-series. A version of hardware. The NonStop K-series servers run with D-series software.
Kanji. A graphic character set consisting of symbols used in Japanese ideographic
alphabets. Each character is represented by 2 bytes.
Kanji character set. Synonym for extended graphic character set (EGCS).
Katakana. A character set of symbols used in one of the two common Japanese phonetic
alphabets, which is used primarily to write foreign words phonetically.
leased line. See nonswitched line.
LEN node. See low-entry networking (LEN) node.
