SNAX Line Handler DEVICE Modifiers
example, if the system image was loaded from $SYSTEM.SYS01 and filename is
SNXSET, SNAX searches for $SYSTEM.SYS01.SNXSETO.
To change the SETTABNAME value, issue an SCF ALTER DEVICE command to the
WAN subsystem; for example:
STOP DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SSCP
ALTER DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SSCP, SETTABNAME MYSET
To temporarily override the WAN subsystem value in the SNAX subsystem, issue an
SCF ALTER SUBSYS command to change the SETTAB attribute value; for example:
ALTER SUBSYS $SSCP, SETTAB $SYSTEM.SET.TABLE
The ALTER SUBSYS command can only be used before adding subordinate SCF
objects but may specify a SET table on any volume and subvolume.
SSCPID n
SSCPID specifies a unique identifier for each SNAX service manager in an Expand
network. It is used only in SNAX/XF configurations, when the service manager
activates PUs.
To change the SSCPID value, issue an SCF ALTER DEVICE command to the WAN
subsystem; for example:
STOP DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SSCP
ALTER DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SSCP, SSCPID 1
To temporarily override the WAN subsystem value in the SNAX subsystem, issue an
SCF ALTER SUBSYS command; for example:
STOP SUBSYS $SSCP
ALTER SUBSYS $SSCP, SSCPID 1
