Configuring SNAX/APC
If SNAX/APC is used as the HP API, certain SNAX/APC and SNAX/APN configuration
parameters must match, as shown in Table 6-2.

Configuring Partner 2.1 Nodes
This subsection describes the most common types of partner node and software.
AS/400
If the partner node is an AS/400 system, certain AS/400 and SNAX/APN configuration
parameters must match, as shown in Table 6-2
. Many of these parameters are used
only for certain configurations.
Notes.
1. The X25AM LINE object must be altered to allocate some PVCs.
2. The X25AM SU must have PROTOCOL QLLC, DEVTYPE (58,20), and a PVC number.
3. SNAX/APN X.25 lines must be configured with STATION either PRIMARY or
SECONDARY (not NEGOTIABLE). A secondary line can have only one remote PU.
4. The ASSOCIATESUBDEV attribute links the SNAX PU object with the PVC (SU object).
5. You must start the X25AM line before the SNAX line.
