currently active SET table. Therefore, no ESS table was assigned to the terminal, and
LUNS was unable to locate the ESS message in an ESS table.
Effect. If the error occurs while LUNS is processing a character-coded request from a
device, LUNS builds a message and sends it to the device. When displayed, this message
informs the user that the system message named Snnnn was not found. If a formatted
request is being processed, an SNA sense code of 0801 is returned to the device.
Recovery. Specify an ESS table name for the LU using the ALTER LU command, or
specify a default ESS table in a new active SET table. (You can use the SETTAB
attribute of the ALTER SUBSYS command to specify the new SET table.) If ALTER
LU is used for temporary recovery, a permanent solution is required to prevent a future
occurrence of this error; for example, specify ZSX1-TKN-ESS-TBL on the ADD LU
command for that LU.

Cause. An unsolicited logoff has been received for the LU named in ZSX1-TKN-
LUNS-OBJ2, and LUNS must inform the creator of the session, named in
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1. LUNS, however, cannot find the session creator named in
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1.
Effect. The unsolicited logoff is completed.
Recovery. If the problem persists, contact the Global Customer Support Center
(GCSC). Provide all relevant information as follows:
•
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), please also supply your system number and the numbers and versions
of all related products.

Cause. During processing of a command from the terminal LU named in ZSX1-TKN-
LUNS-OBJ2, which directed a logon to the host, LUNS was unable to find the terminal
LU after it had established the static path between it and the gateway LU named in
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1.
The value in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-INFO1 is RVT index of the terminal LU.
Effect. The logon process for this request is discontinued.
Recovery. Issue another logon. If the problem persists, contact the Global Customer
Support Center (GCSC), providing all relevant information as follows:
•
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
