Cause. LUNS received a character-coded command from the terminal LU named in
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1. The command matched the command name of an ESSCMD
record in the terminal’s ESS table. That record indicated either a passthrough session
with an application in the remote host or an SSCP-LU session with the remote host’s
SSCP. After the remote gateway LU named in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 had been
assigned, LUNS was unable to find the terminal LU.
The RVT index of the remote gateway LU is contained in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-INFO1.
Effect. The processing of the original request from the terminal LU is terminated.
Recovery. If the named terminal is now active, reissue the command.
If the named terminal is inactive, use SCF to activate the terminal and reissue the
command.
If the problem persists, contact the Global Customer Support Center (GCSC), providing
all relevant information as follows:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable

Cause. LUNS received, from a device, an SNA INIT-SELF request whose DLU-name
field matched the command name of an ESSCMD record, given in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-
OBJ2, in the terminal’s ESS table, named in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1. However, the
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 record in the ESS table is not an INITSELF-RECEIVED type
record.
Effect. The INIT-SELF request is rejected with SNA sense code 0806.
Recovery. Verify that ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1 is the correct ESS table for this
terminal. If not, a temporary correction can be made using the STOP LU, ALTER LU,
and START LU commands (use the ESSTABLE attribute with the ALTER LU
command). A permanent correction might be necessary to the ADD LU command that
created the LU. If LINE or PU default values are employed for the ESSTABLE attribute
of the LU, check the ADD PU and ADD LINE commands that create the LU’s PU and
line, and correct them if necessary.
