If the correct ESS table is assigned to the terminal, use SNAXUTL and its DELETE and
ADD ESSCMD commands to change the ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 record to an
INITSELF-RECEIVED type record, or change the DLU-name field in the INIT-SELF
request from ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 to the command name of an existing INITSELF-
RECEIVED type ESSCMD record.

Cause. LUNS received, from a terminal, an SNA INIT-SELF request whose DLU-name
field matched the command name of an ESSCMD record, given in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-
OBJ2, in the terminal’s ESS table, named in ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1. The information
in this record was used to build a new INIT-SELF request; however, the length of the
new INIT-SELF request was greater than 256 bytes.
The value of ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-INFO1 is the length of the new INIT-SELF request.
Effect. The INIT-SELF request is rejected with SNA sense code 0801.
Recovery. Use SNAXUTL and its DELETE and ADD ESSCMD commands to correct
the ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 record in the ESS table named ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1.

Cause. A SNAX/XF internal error occurred when a READLINK operation was
performed on the LU named ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ2 under the line named
ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1.
The value of ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-INFO1 is the LCB address. The value of ZSX1-TKN-
LUNS-INFO2 is the LCB.LTRAN value (the length, in bytes, of the data transferred).
Effect. The request that was being processed is rejected.
Recovery. Try the request again. If the terminal is locked up, have the operator abort
and restart its LU through SCF. If the problem persists, contact the Global Customer
Support Center (GCSC), providing all relevant information as follows:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), please also supply your system number and the numbers and versions
of all related products.

Cause. SNAXUTL is updating the table named ZSX1-TKN-LUNS-OBJ1.
Effect. All requests for this table are rejected until SNAXUTL finishes updating the
table.
Recovery. Wait for SNAXUTL to complete the update; retry the command.
