91: ZSX1-EVT-ALERT (Basic Alert)
Conditional Tokens
ZDNI-MAP-TEXT-QUAL
is an extensible structured token whose fields are discussed in Appendix A, ZDNI
Tokens.
ZDNI-TKN-TRANS-STATUS
is a token that explains why certain ZDNI tokens that carry RECFMS information
are not included in this event. A program, internal to Compaq, attempts to translate
the information contained in ZSX1-TKN-PIU into one or more of the ZDNI tokens.
If all of the PIU information cannot be completely translated into ZDNI tokens, you
will get one of the following enumerated values:
ZDNI-VAL-OVERFLW2
signifies that translation is incomplete due to buffer overflow.
ZDNI-VAL-UNKN-RU2
signifies that translation is incomplete due to an unrecognized RU field.
If none of the PIU information can be translated you will get one of the following
enumerated values:
ZDNI-VAL-OVERFLW1
signifies that translation failed due to EMS buffer overflow.
ZDNI-VAL-UNKN-RU1
signifies that translation failed due to an unrecognized RU.
Cause. The service manager generates this event message when a communications
network management server (CNMS) sends a basic alert to its communications network
management application (CNMA). The alert indicates an event affecting the PU’s ability
to perform its intended functions.
Effect. The effect of this event is given in the parameters of the message.
Recovery. Refer to Appendix A, ZDNI Tokens
 and the IBM Systems Network
Architecture: Formats manual for corrective action or required intervention based on the
information presented in the tokens.
