contains the value ZSPI-VAL-FALSE. This token is described in the EMS Manual.
ZSPI-TKN-MANAGER
is the name of the service-manager process (the SUBSYS object name), as described
in Section 3 of the SNAX/XF Management Programming Manual.
ZSX1-TKN-REQ-OR-RESP
specifies whether an RU is a request or a response.
ZSX1-TKN-PIU
is the path information unit (PIU) in hexadecimal digits.
Cause. The service manager received an SNA request or response from a resource that
is unknown to the service manager. This event could indicate an inconsistency between
the line-handler process and the service-manager process.
Effect. At the occurrence of this event, the service manager rejects the PIU and
continues processing.
Recovery. If this event persists, start a service-manager trace and take a memory dump
of the primary CPU for the service manager. Then contact the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC).
An alternative to bringing down the CPU is to abort and delete the entire configuration
and then restart the subsystem.
When contacting the Global Customer Support Center (GCSC), provide all relevant
information as follows:
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), please also supply your system number and the numbers and versions
of all related products.
