Cause. An SNA request unit (RU) error occurred on a session with a remote LU using
the CRT or ITI protocol. Some of the errors are listed below:
•
A sequence-number error occurred on the inbound SNA RU.
•
A negative response to the BIND request was received.
•
A negative response to the SDT request was received.
•
An UNBIND request was received.
Effect. The session is deactivated if it was previously activated. Any outstanding
requests are completed with file-system error 66 (device down).
Recovery. Examine the SNA sense code in ZSX1-TKN-SENSE-CODE. Refer to the
IBM Systems Network Architecture Network Product Formats manual for recovery
action.
If the problem can be corrected, close, reopen, then restart the remote LU.
