Cause. SNAX/XF received an error while calling the IOGET internal procedure. This
message is generated by the line handler.
Effect. SNAX/XF terminates.
Recovery. Contact the Global Customer Support Center (GCSC) and provide all
relevant information as follows:
•
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable

Center (GCSC), please also supply your system number and the numbers and
versions of all related products.

Cause. An incorrect device type was specified in the system generation configuration
file. This message is generated by the line handler.
Effect. SNAX/XF terminates.
Recovery. Use an SCF ADD or ALTER DEVICE command to correct the device type.
-9: ZCOM-VAL-IO-ERR-SUBDEV-TYP-INV
Cause. An incorrect subdevice type was specified in the system generation
configuration file. This message is generated by the line handler.
Effect. SNAX/XF terminates.
Recovery. Use a SCF ADD and ALTER DEVICE command to correct the subdevice
type.
-6: ZCOM-VAL-IO-ERR-GETPOOL
Cause. A failure occurred when SNAX/XF issued a call to the GETPOOL procedure.
This message is generated by the service manager or the line handler.
Effect. SNAX/XF terminates.
Recovery. Verify that there are enough memory resources for the service-manager
process or the line-handler process.
