System Requirements 
Versions of the SWID utility are available for any NonStop system running the following 
RVUs: C20 or later C-series, D-series, G-series, and H-series.
Accelerated versions of SWID are also available for HP NonStop Series TNS/R and 
TNS/E systems.
Target Users 
The target users of the SWID utility are service providers (for example, Global 
Customer Support Center [GCSC] personnel), system administrators, and so on. SWID 
is available to all NonStop system users.
Applications such as the Distributed Systems Management/Software Configuration 
Manager (DSM/SCM), Inventory Collector (IC), and SYSGEN use the SWID utility for 
collecting file identification data.
