-FT (Fingerprint Type)
-FT (Fingerprint Type)
The -FT switch option causes SWID to generate the requested fingerprint type for the
specified file or files. The -FT switch option has the format -FT num. The parameter
num specifies this fingerprint type. An error is returned if the type does not exist for a
file. The -FT switch is not valid when used with the -BS, -SC, or -DA switch. The value
specified for num must not exceed four digits. Valid values for num and their meanings
are:
-FA (Format Archaic)
The -FA switch option causes SWID to output in a format similar to the -DV switch.
This format is compatible to that generated by an earlier product version of SWID. In
this format, file information such as file name, current fingerprint, original fingerprint,
version procedures, and Binder timestamp appear on a separate line. Without the -FA
switch (such as using the current format), all information about a file is displayed on
one line.
