SPI Common Extensions Manual
Abstract
This manual describes common extensions to the Subsystem Programmatic Interface
(SPI) that are used by many Compaq NonStop ™ Kernel subsystems. It describes SPI
commands, events, errors, data definitions (ZCOM, ZCMK, and ZCDG), and the
Subsystem Control Point (SCP) process.
Product Version
SPI D40/G05
Supported Releases
This manual supports D40.00 and all subsequent D-series and G-series releases until
otherwise indicated in a new edition.
Document History
The D40 product version of SPI supports all D-series and G-series releases from D40
through G04.
The G05 product version of SPI supports G05.00 and all subsequent G-series
releases.
The features and supported information for both the D40 and G05 product versions of
SPI are identical.
New and Changed Information
This edition of the SPI Common Extensions Manual , formerly the Communications
Management Programming Manual
, contains these changes:

Removed all information pertaining to C-series releases
•
