ZCMK Tokens
ZCMK-TKN-ALTER-BKUP-CPU
This token can appear in ALTER commands to specify a new backup CPU number in
the range -1…15. Zero through 15 are CPU numbers; -1 disables the backup.
If a backup process is already running in a different CPU, it is stopped and a new
backup is started in the new CPU. If no backup process exists, one is started in the
new CPU. Event messages are generated describing the outcome of the attempt to
start the backup. This token corresponds to the BACKUPCPU startup parameter
described in Process Options and Startup Parameters on page B-4.
Omit this token from the ALTER command if no change in the backup CPU is desired.
The backup process can also be stopped directly through a command interpreter by
using a STOP command specifying the cpu,pin of the backup process. The primary
process immediately tries to restart the backup. Thus, stopping the backup process
using a command interpreter provides a method of restarting a new copy of the backup
process in the same CPU.
ZCMK-TKN-BKUP-ABEND-CNT
This token contains a count of backup process abnormal terminations. A ZCMK-based
process stops trying to start a backup if the backup process terminates abnormally
more than 5 times in a 30-minute period.
