ALTER
ALTER Command Tokens
ZCMK-MAP-ALTER
specifies ZCMK debugging flags.
ZCMK-TKN-ALTER-BKUP-CPU
specifies a new backup CPU assignment for the process specified in the
command.
If a backup process is currently running in another CPU, it is stopped and restarted
in the new CPU. If no backup process exists, one is started in the new CPU. Event
messages are produced describing whether the attempt to initiate a backup
process in the new CPU was successful. Valid values for this token are in the
range -1 through 15.
If a value of -1 is specified, any current backup process is stopped.
To leave the backup process CPU assignment unchanged, omit this token.
The backup process can also be stopped directly through a command interpreter,
using a STOP command specifying the cpu,pin of the backup process. The
primary process immediately tries to restart the backup. Thus, stopping the backup
process with a command interpreter provides a method of restarting a new copy of
the backup process in the same CPU.
This token corresponds to the BACKUPCPU startup parameter described in
Process Options and Startup Parameters on page B-4.
ZCMK-TKN-CHMAP-NAME
specifies the name of a character map that replaces the default map. This token is
supported only by subsystems that support character mapping.
ZCMK-TKN-CHMAP-XFNAME
specifies the name of a character-map file that replaces the default file. This token
is supported only by subsystems that support character mapping.
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-1
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-2
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-3
specifies the identity of the EMS collector for the primary collector and alternate
collectors 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
A zero-length name stops EMS event collection for the corresponding collector. To
leave a collector unchanged, omit the corresponding token from the request.
Altering a collector causes an event to be generated, an event message to be sent
to the old and the new collectors indicating the change, and the banner line to be
