ZCMK Event Messages
ZCOM-TKN-SWITCH-CPU
specifies the CPU to become the primary CPU. Only this resource token is allowed
in SWITCH commands directed to the native object type of a subsystem based on
the ZCMK definitions.
ZCMK Event Messages
Subsystems based on the ZCMK definitions generate event messages with the prefix
ZCMK. The disposition of an event message to a log file or an EMS collector is
subsystem-specific. For information about specifying a log file and an EMS collector,
see Starting ZCMK-Based Processes on page B-1 and ALTER on page B-39.
The recommended action specified in the Recovery portion of an event description is
not necessarily a programmatic solution. A management application might be required
to detect an event and then notify some external agent that the event has occurred.
You are more likely to encounter some of the messages during application
development. You must determine from the event descriptions what your application
should do.
File Names in ZCMK Event Messages
File names contained in ZCMK event messages are fully qualified and in string format
(ZSPI-TYP-STRING). Node names are included for named nodes.
The event messages are ordered by event number. The key value in the description
specifies where a value appears in the text form of the message. Event-specific tokens
that do not occur in all events are described with the events in which they occur.
Table B-1 lists ZCMK event messages by number. Table B-2 on page B-51 lists them
by name.
