Distributed Management
An application can simultaneously manage multiple subsystems and might do so by
routing commands through more than one intermediate process.
Figure 1-3 shows a single management application sending commands to several
subsystems through two SCP processes. An application can start its own SCP process
or use one that is already running.
A management application can manage subsystems on remote nodes either directly or
through an intermediate process such as SCP.
Every message includes the name of the target subsystem, which can be fully qualified
to include a remote system name. See Figure 1-4.
