–10002 ZCDG-EVT-RESET-EIO
ZCDG-TKN-REQUESTERID
contains the subsystem number of the software that issued the TAKEOWN EIO.
ZCDG-TKN-REASON
indicates the cause of the switch. Valid values and the causes they identify are
listed in the description of this token earlier in this section.
Cause. Take ownership EIOs are normally issued during controller initialization, but
can also be issued to switch the IOC path (hence IOP and CPU) in order to lock out an
overloaded or malfunctioning path.
Effect. The specified CPU now owns the port.
Recovery. Scan the log for earlier events referring to the same device. If an earlier
event indicates that the TAKEOWN-EIO event was generated because the device was
recently started or because of an operator request, no action is required. If previous
events indicate a hardware or software fault on the device, those events should
indicate the response. If the same events persist after the TAKEOWN, the fault is
probably in the controller and not the associated CPU.
–10002 ZCDG-EVT-RESET-EIO

ZEMS-TKN-EVENTNUMBER

ZCDG-TKN-EIO-ERR
contains the value ZSPI-VAL-TRUE if the RESET was completed or an error code
if the RESET failed.
