5 Commands and Responses
This section describes the syntax and semantics of the extended SPI command set
available to subsystems:
Basic information about sending commands and retrieving responses is presented in
the SPI Programming Manual along with descriptions of the ZSPI-defined tokens that
appear in commands and responses.
Not all commands are supported by all subsystems. Furthermore, some subsystem
implementations of these command messages contain elements that are unique to a
particular subsystem. And finally, some subsystems support additional commands that
are specific to the subsystem. For complete information about a particular subsystem’s
implementation of a command, see the management programming manual for that
subsystem.
