Peruse Functions Added to Spoolcom

All Peruse functions are included in the Spooler Plus Spoolcom utility. Peruse functions

have been added to Spoolcom as additional subcommands or commands. Table H-2

lists some of the Peruse command functions that have been included in the Spooler

Plus Spoolcom utility,

Command Description

FILES Displays the names of all files in the specified subvolume.

FIND Finds a string in the current job.

LIST Lists pages from the current job.

NUMCOL Sets the number of columns displayed by the LIST command.

PAGE Changes and displays the page position of the current job.

PURGE Purges disk files.

SJFILES Displays the spooler job files.

STARTCOL Sets the first column for the LIST command.

VOLUME Sets the default volume and subvolume.

POLL Polls at a specified interval (DELAY subcommand) and reports changes

in the status of jobs. Same as STATUS command in Peruse.

PUT Writes all the contents of the current job to an edit file

PUTC Writes all the contents of the current job, including control characters, to

an edit file

ENV Gives current environment parameters for STARTCOL, NUMCOL,

current job, and current batch job
