Table H-4 lists subcommands that have been added to the Spooler Plus Spoolcom
utility but that are not part of the Spooler Spoolcom utility.
Enhanced SPOOLER STATISTICS
Subcommand
The Spooler Plus SPOOLER STATISTICS subcommand displays the following
information, which is not displayed by the Spooler SPOOLER STATISTICS command:

Number of jobs in the spooler
•
Number of jobs that are in the OPEN state
•
Number of opens currently to the spooler supervisor
•
Number of device queue entries
•
Number of receive queue entries
•
Number of jobs currently printing
•
Number of jobs collected since the last warmstart
•
Number of jobs printed since the last warmstart
•
Number of batch jobs in the spooler
•
Number of locations
•
Number of devices
•
Number of collectors
•
Number of print processes
•
Number of fonts

Subcommand Description
NEXT Used with the JOB command. This subcommand makes the next
higher number job the current job. If there is no current job, the lowest
job number in the list of jobs becomes the current job.
CURRENT Used with the JOB and BATCH commands. This subcommand makes
the specified job or batch number the current job or batch number.
SUMMARY Used with the COLLECT, DEV, JOB, and PRINT commands. For the
PRINT and COLLECT commands, CURRENT displays the total
number of processes defined and how many are in each of the possible
states (ACTIVE, DORMANT, DRAIN, and ERROR).
For the DEV command, CURRENT displays the total number of
devices defined and the number in each of the possible states (BUSY,
DEVERROR, OFFLINE, PROCERROR, SUSPENDED, and WAITING).
For the JOB command, CURRENT displays the total number of jobs in
the spooler and the number in each of the possible states (HOLD,
OPEN, PRINTING, and READY).
