Effect. The statement fails.

Cause. Internal error: Stated in the error message.
Effect. The statement fails.
Recovery. None. Report the entire message to your service provider.
SQL 1943
Cause. An SQL command specified an operation that is not allowed on an OSS file.
Effect. The operation is not performed on the file.
Recovery. Use an appropriate OSS command to perform the operation on the OSS
file.
SQL 1944
Cause. The SQL catalog manager (SQLCAT) was asked to process a request that
was not allowed on Guardian files. SQLCAT might have been sent an invalid request
from the OSS name server, or the OSSFILE field in the PROGRAMS table of the
catalog might contain an incorrect value.
Effect. The operation is not performed on the file.
Recovery. None. Report the entire message to your service provider.
1941 Internal error: File could not be closed by sequential
record read routine.
1942 Internal error: Records could not be read by sequential
record read routine.
1943 The requested operation is not allowed on OSS file
