ASCII Character Set
ASCII Character Set
The ASCII character set is a subset of the nine single-byte ISO character sets (ISO
8859/1 through ISO 8859/9) that are used by SQL.
Table A-6 is a list of the characters in the ASCII character set along with their internal
representations and meanings.
