mxtool: OSS Performs various utility operations.
FIXUP operation OSS Repairs problems in the SQL/MX database
that cannot be repaired by normal operations.
GOAWAY operation OSS Removes Guardian files associated with an
SQL/MX database object.
INFO operation OSS Displays information about SQL/MX files,
such as the Guardian file name, ANSI name,
ANSI namespace, and object schema
version.
VERIFY operation OSS Reports whether SQL/MX database objects
and applications are consistently described in
file labels, resource forks, and metadata.
POPULATE INDEX MXCI Loads SQL/MX indexes with data from the
associated table.
RECOVER MXCI Determines the state of a failed utility
operation and executes its recovery
procedure.
