Summary of Installed SQL/MX Files
MXUDR The executable file of the
SQL/MX UDR server, which is a
layer of software between the
SQL/MX executor and JVM that
supports SPJs in NonStop
SQL/MX.
For more information on SPJs,
see the SQL/MX Guide to
Stored Procedures in Java0.
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM
MXUTP The executable file for the
materialized view feature, which
is not supported with Release
2.1 or Release 2.0.
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM
MXOMSG A message file associated with
MXCS.
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM
IMPORT The IMPORT utility, which
resides in Guardian file space
and is a licensed Guardian code
700 file. This file can be used
only if you have purchased and
installed the DDL licensing
product (T0394) for SQL/MX
tables.
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM
MXGNAMES The Guardian code 700 file for
the MXGNAMES utility. This file
can be used only if you have
purchased and installed the DDL
licensing product (T0394) for
SQL/MX tables.
$SYSTEM.ZMXTOOLS
import The symbolic OSS link to the
IMPORT utility that resides in
Guardian file space. This file can
be used only if you have
purchased and installed the DDL
licensing product (T0394) for
SQL/MX tables.
/usr/tandem/sqlmx/bin
migrate The OSS file for the migrate
utility.
/usr/tandem/sqlmx/bin
mxci The OSS file for the SQL/MX
conversational interface (MXCI).
To run mxci, you must be in the
OSS environment.
