Verifying Java Component Software Versions
Verifying Java Component Software Versions
If you intend to develop and execute Java programs that perform SQL operations or
SPJs, verify that you have installed the correct product versions of these necessary
software products and files:
•
NonStop Server for Java
•
JDBC/MX driver
•
SQLJ product (required only for SQLJ programs)
•
SQL/MX UDR server (required only for SPJs)
For information about verifying the software versions of these products, see the JDBC
Driver for SQL/MX Programmer’s Reference, the SQL/MX Guide to Stored Procedures
in Java, or the SQL/MX Programming Manual for Java.
Relinking the SQL/MX UDR Server
If you intend to use SPJs, you must statically link the SQL/MX UDR server to the
NonStop Server for Java and the JDBC/MX driver. Whenever you install a new release
of NonStop SQL/MX, a different product version of Nonstop Server for Java, or a new
JDBC/MX driver, you must relink the SQL/MX UDR server. For more information about
relinking the SQL/MX UDR server, see the SQL/MX Guide to Stored Procedures in
Java.

alternative settings. For more information, see Default Settings to Review After
