2-4-2 Database Compatibility
The SST/OB Client interface and the database have a versioning system. A particular interface is meant to be
used with a particular version of the database structure. If there is any mismatch between interface and the
database, an error would be displayed.
2-4-3 Database Connections and Services Status
You can use the and the icons on the Status bar to view the status of the SST/OB components and the
connection status with the database.
Clicking on the icons displays the Connections and Components Status dialog box with the corresponding tab
page.
Components Status
Clicking on the icon displays the Connections and Components Status – Components tab page. You can view
the last reported status of the various SST/OB components.
Select the Alert me when a component is not started check box to generate an alert when a component/service is
not started.
