4. The New Event Policy Category dialog box is displayed.

Specify the following information in the dialog box.
• Name
• Description
• Pass Values
• Expression
The Pass Values can be individual values separated by commas or ranges. For example: 100, 2000,
3000-3300, 4500, -1200. If the incoming event satisfied this condition it would qualify to be processed
into this category only.
NOTE: The Expression field is not supported in the current release of the product. Use only Pass Value to
specify category for the current release.
5. Click on the OK button to create the event category.
6. The Event Policy Categories dialog box is displayed again. Use the arrow buttons to add selected event
policies from the Available Event Policies list to categories listed in the Event Policy Categories list box.
Policies
