5 Troubleshooting SST/OB Client Application 
5-1 Database Connection Failed 
If the connection of the SST/OB Client with the database server is lost, the following error message will be 
displayed.

To troubleshoot the problem, perform the following steps: 
•  Check the ODBC DSN Connection 
DSN is required to create an ODBC connection between your Client application and the database. 
Make sure that the connection is working properly. 
•  Check the DB system up/down status. 
Check the network connectivity of the system where Database is installed. Ensure that the network 
connection is UP and running. 
•  Check if the Internet connection cable is unplugged 
Ensure that the Internet connection cable is not unplugged to ensure connectivity between the SST/OB 
Client and the SSTOB database.
