4-6 Event Log
An event is any significant occurrence in the system or in a program that requires users to be notified, or an entry
added to a log. With the Event Log feature, you can obtain information about your hardware, software, and
system components, and monitor security events. Event logs can help you identify and diagnose the source of
current system problems, or also helps you to predict potential system problems.
To access the Event Log feature, click on the Event Log tab in the Navigation area.

Clicking on the Event Log tab displays the Open Event Log link which provides access to the Event Log details.
The Event Log Details area provides the information from the Event log under the following headers.
• NodeName
• GenerationTime
• SSID
• Process
• EventNumber
• Subject
• EventText
To move through the available items in the Event Log Detail pages use
or buttons.
