LISTDEV process-name Command
The LISTDEV process-name command retrieves information about a particular
executing process.
$process-name
is the process name or logical device number of $ZSMS, a storage pool process,
or a logical volume process. The process you name must be executing. If you
specify a storage pool process, use the LOGVOL, PHYSICAL, or ALLVOL option
to request additional information about virtual disks and logical volumes associated
with the process. The pool must be UP. When you use PHYSICAL or ALLVOL, the
state field for each physical volume contains one of these values:
L[OGVOL]
retrieves information about all virtual disks associated with the storage pool
process.
P[HYSICAL]
retrieves information about all physical volumes associated with the storage pool
process. The catalog of the storage pool process must be accessible.
LISTDEV $process-name [,{L[OGVOL] | P[HYSICAL] | A[LLVOL]}]
Blank
The physical volume is available for SMF operations.
T
The physical volume is isolated.
Q
The physical volume is quarantined.
S
The storage pool process is performing special opera-
tions on the physical volume.
QT
The physical volume is both quarantined and isolated.
