STOP Command
STOP Command
ZCOM-CMD-STOP (sensitive)
The STOP command stops the SCP process to which it is directed. You can stop the
process only after outstanding opens from other processes are closed. You can modify
the STOP command to either fail if there are outstanding opens or to wait until the
outstanding opens are closed.
For an SCP process pair, the primary and backup processes are stopped.
The START command cancels a STOP command that has not completed pending
closure of outstanding opens.
ZCOM-TKN-CMD-POWER
specifies how abruptly the SCP process stops. Valid values are:
ZCOM-VAL-POWER-NORMAL (default)
If the SCP process is not currently opened by another process, it stops.
Otherwise, it returns the error ZSCP-ERR-OBJ-ACTV and continues to run.
