Error Notation
Error Notation
For each error, a syntax box lists the tokens that appear in the error list. The notation
used in the box for simple tokens is a shorthand version of the essential information
given in the DDL TOKEN-CODE statement. Following the box, tokens in the error list
are described in the order that they appear.
If there is associated message text, key numbers within angle brackets (<n>) identify the
tokens from which message text is derived.
This appendix does not describe common error list tokens. For information about these
tokens, see the Distributed Systems Management (DSM) Manual and the SPI Common
Extensions Manual.
ZCOM Errors
An SCP process can issue three types of ZCOM-defined errors:
•
ZCOM errors issued exclusively by SCP processes. These errors are listed in
Table A-1 and Table A-2, and described in this subsection.
•
ZCOM errors issued in common by Compaq NonStop™ Kernel subsystems. For
descriptions of these errors, see the SPI Common Extensions Manual.
•
ZCOM errors issued by processes based on the ZCMK definitions, which includes
SCP processes. These include additional tokens in the error lists, and are described
in the SPI Common Extensions Manual.
