A collector process encountered a file-system error.

Cause. The trace-data collector process initiated by an SCP process attempted to

execute a file-system procedure call, and the procedure returned an error.

Effect. The trace is stopped.

Recovery. Stop the current trace and start a new trace. If the error recurs, contact your

Compaq representative.

–849 ZTRC-ERR-START-PEND

The server process specified in a trace initiation command has not yet completed a

previous trace initiation command.

Cause. The SCP process is awaiting notification from the server that an outstanding

trace has been successfully initiated. Until the server returns this notification, the SCP

process cannot forward a new trace command to that server.

Effect. The trace command is rejected.

Recovery. Wait a few seconds and reissue the request.
