–855 ZTRC-ERR-LOCK-MEMORY-ERR

A collector process could not lock memory.

ZTRC-TKN-INIT-ERR-DETAIL

is included in the error list generated by an SCP process. It is not applicable to this

error and is set to 0.

Cause. This condition might result from a shortage of available memory.

Effect. The memory being used to hold tracing data might be swapped out. The tracing

process might have to wait, affecting performance and increasing the likelihood of trace-

data loss.

Recovery. Resolve the system memory shortage.

–856 ZTRC-ERR-RCV-OPEN-ERR

The collector process encountered an internal error.

ZTRC-TKN-INIT-ERR-DETAIL

contains the error number returned to the collector on its attempt to open its

$RECEIVE file.

Cause. The trace collector encountered a file-system error while trying to open its

$RECEIVE file.

Effect. The trace cannot be initiated.

Recovery. This is an internal collector error. Contact your Compaq representative.
