ALTER Command
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-1
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-2
ZCMK-TKN-EMS-XFNAME-3
specifies the identity of the EMS collector for the primary collector and alternate
collectors 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
A zero-length name stops EMS event collection for the corresponding collector. To
leave a collector unchanged, omit the corresponding token from the request.
Altering a collector causes an event to be generated, an event message indicating the
change to be sent to the old and the new collectors, and the banner line to be sent to
the new collector. This token corresponds to the COLLECTOR startup parameter.
ZCMK-TKN-LOG-XFNAME
specifies the identity of the log file. A zero-length name stops logging. To leave the
log unchanged, omit this token from the ALTER command message.
Altering the log file causes an event to be generated, a message announcing the
change to be sent to the old and the new log files, and the banner line to be sent to
the new log file.
This token corresponds to the OUT startup parameter.
ZCMK-TKN-MSG-XFNAME
specifies the identity of the message file.
You can use any edit file as a message file, but take care not to assign an
inappropriate file. Although SCP processes can operate without a message file, error
messages and event logging do not perform as expected.
