Replace the LAN LB
1. In the tree pane of the Management window, select the SWAN 2 concentrator
containing the LAN LB to be replaced.
2. Click the Attributes tab in the details pane to determine the Track ID of that
SWAN 2 concentrator.
3. Physically locate the SWAN 2 concentrator that has this Track ID on the back
panel of its chassis (see Figure 1-4 on page 1-5).
4. LAN LBs are located on the front panel of the SWAN 2 concentrator, and each
LAN LB is labeled (see Figure 1-1 on page 1-3).
Replace the LAN LB

Refer to Standard Operating Practices on page 5-3.
Remove the LAN LB
1. Put on an ESD wriststrap and connect the grounding clip securely to an unpainted
metal surface on the SWAN 2 concentrator containing the LAN LB to be replaced.

Note. Whenever you handle a LAN LB, follow standard operating practices to avoid damage to
the equipment.
