Gather the Proper Tools
You will need the following tools to replace a power supply:
Determine the Physical Location of the Power Supply
To determine the physical location of the power supply, use the OSM Service
Connection or the TSM Service Application:
1. In the tree pane of the Management window, select the SWAN 2 concentrator
containing the power supply to be replaced.
2. Click the Attributes tab in the details pane to determine the Track ID of that
SWAN 2 concentrator.
3. Physically locate the SWAN 2 concentrator that has this Track ID on the back
panel of its chassis (see Figure 1-4 on page 1-5).
4. The power supplies are located on the front panel of the SWAN 2 concentrator,
and each power supply is labeled (see Figure 1-1 on page 1-3).

Unpack and Inspect the Replacement Power Supply.
4.
Install the Replacement Power Supply.
5.
Verify the Installation of the Replacement Power Supply.
Note. Whenever you handle a power supply, follow standard operating practices to avoid
damage to the equipment.
