This appendix describes the supported electrical signals and the wiring of cables and

connectors provided by HP for use with the SWAN 2 concentrator.

Ethernet (RJ-45) Connector Signal

Descriptions

Table C-1 describes the pinout for the A and B Ethernet RJ-45 connectors on the LAN

BICs of a SWAN 2 concentrator. This pin numbering is consistent with the IEEE

802.3i-1990 twisted-pair Ethernet specification.
