V.35 Interface Converter Cable Wiring

Table C-10 describes the V.35 interface converter cable wiring. The 50-pin connector

on one end of this cable connects to the WAN port on the SWAN 2 concentrator, and

the 34-pin connector on the other end connects to a standard V.35 connector (4, 5)

with female contacts. This cable presents special electromagnetic interference (EMI)

problems because the modem connector itself is not shielded. However, the 50-pin

connector and the cable are fully shielded.

The four-bit ISEL value is %b0110.
